# Understanding our measurements

## Always length x depth x height

### The order is always the same

We always give measurements as **length x depth/width x height**. So a vivarium listed as 120 x 60 x 60 cm is 120 cm long, 60 cm deep and 60 cm high.

### Weights of vivariums

Much of a vivarium's weight comes from the glass – the larger the glass panels, the heavier the vivarium. Bear this in mind when choosing where to put it and which cabinet to stand it on.

Need an exact measurement or weight for your planning? Send us the product link and we will check what information we have.
