Why does my V3 PRO not switch the light off?
Dimming rather than switching – and the timer
The thermostat dims rather than switches
The M&S Reptile Control V3 PRO controls connected heat sources by dimming them: a heat panel gradually gets warmer or cooler rather than switching off completely. This is intentional and keeps temperatures steady.
What about the light?
The built-in timer controls lighting separately. So if a connected light is not switching on or off, that has nothing to do with the dimming function.
