My livefood arrived frozen – what now?

Usually just cold torpor – give it four hours

Usually it is just cold torpor

In cold weather, feeder insects usually only go into cold torpor, which can last up to four hours.

  1. Simply leave them at room temperature.
  2. Give them up to four hours.

Please do not apply any additional heat – room temperature only. In almost every case the insects come round on their own.

If they do not come round

Then get in touch with us again and we will normally find a goodwill solution.

On request we can send livefood by express (15 euros) and/or in a polystyrene box (8.50 euros). It is rarely worth it, as feeder insects almost never actually freeze.
