What is in a starter kit
A starter kit contains the vivarium, lighting, heating and basic accessories – all matched to each other. That takes away the tricky question of which components work together, which is exactly what makes the start difficult.
Kits are matched to the species
- Leopard gecko: dry and well ventilated, with a heat source, hides and suitable lighting.
- Bearded dragon: a large vivarium with UV lighting and temperature zones.
- Snake: securely lockable, well heated, with hides, temperature control and suitable substrate.
- Tortoise: spacious with a reliable heat source.
Make sure the kit suits the adult size of the species you want – not just the juvenile. We are happy to advise if you are unsure.
